With the increasing sophistication of China’s manufacturing and laboratories, demand is increasing for sophisticated measuring and monitoring equipment. Carhart is working with a US manufacturer of portable emissions monitoring equipment to sell into this growing market. Carhart has entered into agreements with dealers/distributors in key regions to market the company’s products, and has prepared Chinese language marketing materials for this purpose. Carhart also is targeting energy-intensive industries most in need of this equipment through a combination of direct contacts with large manufacturers and dealers/distributors focused on these industries. Carhart GMS has worked with the US manufacturer to train its Beijing staff on calibration of equipment and installation of replacement parts for ongoing customer service.
